My Beginning of My Journey in Photography

It was my dad, actually, who sparked my interest in photography.

It was beautiful, magical even, how he could capture the prettiest pictures on our then camera- a Fuji one. He never ever yearned for a DSLR but captured the most picturesque sights on his phone.

I saw the magic of photography on him. The magic of how a simple press of a button could become your most precious memory. The magic of photography lies in telling a wordless story. The best pictures, in my opinion, are pictures that can evoke an emotion in viewers, be it a sense of happiness, sadness or even that undescribable aching in your heart.

And that was how I started my photography journey.

To me, learning about all the composition techniques in the world makes you a hardworking student. The best photos can break every single rule in the industry, but they tell a picture. And that is what I strive to achieve in my shots.

I’m currently using a Canon DSLR, and I wouldn’t swap it for anything in the world.
