So anyone who knows me knows that I’ve really been enjoying movies or shows that will make me cry. So here’s one of those I watched less than 5mins before writing this post.
This was recommended by a friend and I’ll give you some facts about it before giving you my thoughts.

How much I cried: 2 pieces of tissue, lightly damp; I didn’t full out bawl for this movie, but it kept me on the edge of bawling for a really long time.
So the movie is pretty good. Disney+ categorises it as a comedy, but eh, you make that decision for yourself yah. I thought that it was a really good romance film, nothing too terribly special but often it’s the simplest storylines that make the most tear jerking films.
Honestly, I felt that the film had a ton of potential to make me bawl at the star-crossed romance and all that, but that just wasn’t the direction the filmmakers wanted. In fact, it is repeated a couple of time throughout the show, ‘If this was a typically romance story, this this this and this would happen. But it is not, so this happened instead.’
I don’t have a lot of thoughts on it, still coming down from my emotional high, but all in all, definitely recommend that yall watch this if you have the time, but this would probably not be the film of choice if you use them like I do, to trigger a huge cry for emotional release.
