So over the past few days, I’ve been talking a lot about living for yourself, about accepting who we are, accepting both the good and the bad, and I thought that this would be a good quote to round it all up.
I’m not saying that you won’t make mistakes in your life if you accept yourself for who you are. We are all human. We all make mistakes.
But I think that one of the most important things to do after making a mistake is to own it. There really is no shame in admitting that you made a mistake.
As that old saying goes, mistakes show that you are trying and honestly if no one has ever told you this, let me tell you, i am immensely proud of you for trying. Because effort means so much more compared to an achievement. When you believe that you can constantly grow, effort will mean so much more to you compared to any achievement you have ever obtained, progress will mean so much more than perfection.
Us being human beings, we hardly ever learn anything from success. But we always learn so much from mistakes.
So today, I hope you start being happy about making mistakes, because those seasons are the ones that will see you true exponential growth. Trust me, give it a shot, and watch the magic.
