Don’t let what you can’t do interfere with what you can do.
John Wooden
Hey guys,
It’s Mother Tongue Os tmr and I’m sure many of you guys are feeling a little anxious, which is why I specially picked this quote for today.
By now, you should already know your strengths and weaknesses, which areas you are good at and which areas tend to be a little more shaky. You still have some time till your paper tomorrow, so I suggest you still spend some time on the areas that you know you’re still a little shaky at, but as you walk into the exam hall tomorrow, I hope that you can remain calm and just do your very best. Like the quote says, don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.
Let me share with you my exam hack. Some of you might know this already, but to those who don’t, do the questions that you’re confident in first. Be willing to skip questions. No one ever said that you had to do the paper in numerical order.
By doing so, you’re building your own confidence level and ensuring that you at least manage to attempt the questions that you think you can get the marks in.
The last thing you want to happen is that you know that you know the answer to that question, but the invigilator says ‘Times up, pens down’.
So I shan’t say too much today, go do your final preparations and remember to get sufficient rest! Don’t burn the midnight oil today. If you have any questions, please do send them to @01step_at_a_time, our specialists are on standby to help you. We will be here with you every step of the way. Just let us know what you need. Even this little duckling is cheering for you! All the best!
