The Werewolf
Saturday, 11th January 1999
Oh my God diary! Today I had a near death experience with one of the most feared creatures of all: a werewolf.
I was just outside, putting a handful of Glowing Geraniums into a jar when, all of a sudden, there was this growling noise. I knew I shouldn’t have snuck out to get the geraniums but they only bloomed in the night, and they were just glowing outside the protected circle so I secretly snuck out.
And lo and behold, there it was, baring its razor sharp teeth at me. Its upright body was covered with a gruesome red liquid… oh my! It was gory, gory! I screamed in terror.
Just when it was about to pounce, there was a flash of bright light, with somebody shouting, “Aufenthalt!”
After I had come to my senses, I realised that the whole camp had been woken up by my scream and had seen the werewolf about to attack me. Jeremy had quickly reacted to the situation, and had cast the petrifying spell on the werewolf. I was still shaking in fear when I was back in the tent and everyone was comforting me. That was a scare I would never forget. Here are some facts about the habits of werewolves:
- They are nocturnal.
- They have an amazing sense of smell.
- They can see in the dark.
- They have super sharp teeth that can tear through steel.
- Their favourite foods are unicorns.
Okay, diary. Here is a list of basic spells:
Aufenthalth = Petrifying spell
Magnameus = Teleporting spell
Teholeun = Flying spell
Battevile = Invisible spell
There are more spells in ‘The Big Book of Spells’/ It is situated in Moonlight Castle’s library, where almost every book on magic is. I love going there as I can read quietly and also it is where I am safe from… werewolves!
